There are two ways you can apply, visit your nearest Sportsman's Warehouse store and apply at checkout or apply online at sportsmans.com/apply/application. If approved, you'll receive a credit card welcome kit in the mail within 7-10 business days.
Yes, if you have been approved for a credit card in a Sportsman's Warehouse store or online, you will be able to use your newly opened account on the same transaction and receive a first purchase discount as well! For online applications, you can make a purchase on your account if done during the same session.
For any purchases online, you will need your physical card to check out. For any purchases in-store, you can provide a valid photo ID, along with your phone number, for the associate to look up your account to verify your account details and identity. With the Explorewards Store Card and Explorewards Visa, you will earn 5 Explorewards points for every $1 spent at Sportsman's Warehouse, in-store or online. For Explorewards Visa, you will also earn 2 Explorewards points for every $1 spent on Gas, Home Improvement Merchants, and Campgrounds outside of Sportsman's Warehouse, and 1 point for every $1 spent anywhere else Visa is accepted.
You will earn points for the amount charged on your credit card on all products at Sportsman's Warehouse, including services at The Gunsmith at Sportsman's Warehouse. However, shipping charges, discounts from vendor coupons (or other similar discount coupons), taxes, and fees are not eligible for points. For Explorewards Visa, you will also earn points for purchases outside of Sportsman's Warehouse and anywhere Visa is accepted. See the Program Terms & Conditions for complete details.
Points will expire at the end of the quarter one year after the date they were earned if no further purchases are made. As long as at least 1 point is earned per year, all previous points will never expire. Check your receipt or your monthly Explorewards email statement for the next expiration date.
You can view your points earned on the credit card by logging into the Loyalty Rewards page. You can also view your total Explorewards points balance on your store receipt, the My Rewards page, or your monthly Explorewards email statements.
Explorewards points will be applied to your account once per month, within 5 business days of the generation of your credit card billing statement.
You can start redeeming when you have at least 1 available point. You can redeem points both in-store and online. When checking out online, you can select, “Use My Explorewards” option as a payment method. When checking out in-store, notify the associate that you would like to pay with points.

You can also follow these steps to check your balance and redeem your points for a eGift Card:
STEP 1 - Sign in to your Sportsmans.com account and click on the "My Account" link.
STEP 2 - From the drop-down menu, select "Loyalty".
NOTICE: On this page, you'll see the number of points and their dollar value available for redemption.
STEP 3 - Click on the "Redeem" button and we'll send you an eGift Card, for the value of your points, to the email address listed on your Loyalty Account.
Please contact the Sportsman's Warehouse Customer Service Team, and they will assist you. You may have an additional Explorewards Loyalty number, so be sure to ask an associate to confirm.

Yes! When you visit your local SW store to make a cash payment, please provide a valid government ID, as well as your phone number associated with your Explorewards account. If you have more than one Explorewards Loyalty number, please ask the associate to confirm before making the payment. Please note that cash is the only accepted form of payment and debit or credit cards will not be accepted. You can also pay: online, by phone, or through the mail. Payments may take up to 7 - 10 days to post to your account. Please retain receipt for proof of payment.
