Taurus Curve Pistol
The Taurus Curve is not what you typically see for a concealment weapon. Its odd and strangely ergonomic shape offers a printless carry aspect that can’t be found with many other firearms. The slight curve in its frame allows it to hug against the abdomen without the high profile of similar firearms of the same caliber.
The Taurus Curve retains accuracy despite the anatomically curved frame and comes with a red dot laser and light factory mounted in the front. This firearm is on the smaller side, with limited safety features other than a heavy lawyer’s trigger. As a double-action only (DAO) pistol, this pocket rocket makes the handler intentionally squeeze the trigger to actually fire, and significantly reduces the risk of an accidental discharge.
Handguns
The Taurus Curve, or Taurus 180, fires .380 ACP cartridges and features a pivoting barrel to efficiently grab each successive round when firing multiple shots. This gun is oriented toward right-handed carriers, however, many reviews describe that the curvature is not significant enough to interfere with left or right-handed shooting. This firearm also would not be a problem for those looking for something to train ambidextrously on. It operates off of a straight blowback system and hammer-fired design and features an additional magazine disconnect safety feature.

Taurus Curve with Integral Light and Laser
The Taurus Curve only had a production time of about four years, and a fairly niche market, this did not stop this firearm from turning heads on the shelf. This fully beveled concealment piece has eliminated all snag points from iron sights to barrel crown. The integral light and laser come factory, but don’t necessarily have to be used. A small textured power button to activate these sight aids is easy to find with the trigger finger.

Taurus Curve Without Sights
The Taurus Curve did not have to come with LaserLyte features from the factory. This variant still features the low-profile and anti-snag shape while retaining accuracy. The bore-axis sighting system allows intuitive sighting without much need for a light or laser. The aggressive texturing along the backstrap and frontstrap assures a solid grip. Follow-up shots tend to be slower with the Taurus Curve, as its heavy double-action draw is intentionally set by Taurus.

Taurus Curve with Integral Viridian Lights and Laser
The Taurus Curve also had an option to feature viridian night sights, that allow an additional advantage at night. As a concealment weapon, these sights are paired with the integral light and laser mounted within the frame. The snag points on Taurus Curves have practically been eliminated, including the magazine release, slide catch, and thumb safety. A heavy and long double-action pull ensures the handler has intention when firing, as the trigger itself has to disappear into the frame before the hammer is released. The Viridian green laser light has a unique advantage over crimson trace lasers in the daytime as their frequency is easier for the human eye to see over long distances.
