The Mossberg Shockwave is a Mossberg 590 with a shortened barrel and the Raptor Bird’s Head style pistol grip, instead of a traditional shoulder stock. The barrel on the Shockwave is shortened to an unbelievable 14.3". The entire length of the gun is only 26.3". The Mossberg Shockwave is a superior close-quarters defense shotgun ideal for personal protection and home defense. Mossberg 590 Chainsaw
To facilitate firing the Mossberg Shockwave from the hip, using the gun's birdshead grip, Mossberg introduced the 590 Chainsaw. The Mossberg 590 Chainsaw, as its name suggests, comes equipped with a chainsaw-style handle that wraps around the barrel. Using the unique chainsaw-style handle, the shooter can easily move the gun back and forth, and work the action, while holding the handle in place.
This handle also allows the barrel to be a little longer since the shooter has more to hang on to. The barrel on the 590 Chainsaw is 18.5 inches compared to the 14.375 inch barrel on the standard shockwave. This variant also comes with a specially made muzzle break. The pistol grip is also different from standard shockwave, giving the user even more grip.

The Mossberg® FLEX™ 590® Tactical
The Mossberg FLEX 590 Tactical shotgun is unique in that it features a tool-less locking system. Using a single receiver the shooter is able to configure the FLEX 590 Tactical's stock, forends and recoil pads relatively quickly and with ease. The FLEX 590 comes with a 20" cylinder, bead sight and 6-position adjustable stock with a pistol grip. As with a few other Mossberg models, Flex 590 can cycle 2-3/4" and 3" shells interchangeably.
This shotgun is made to be the ultimate adaptive shotgun platform. You can remove the stock in a matter of seconds and can replace it with another Flex stock of your choice.
