Sometimes called the “Baby Eagle” the Jericho 941 hit the market in 1990 and has achieved widespread acclaim over the following years. Based on the CZ-75 short recoil system this is an effective, high-quality pistol machined to exacting standards.

Originally produced in 9mm and 41 AE, it is now available in .40 Smith and Wesson and .45 ACP. You have your choice of steel or polymer frames, and it comes with Jericho’s “cocked and locked” system with a chambered round and the safety on.

The Jericho 941 is available in either full-sized or mid-sized models. The principal difference is a barrel length of 4.4 inches in the full-size model and 3.8 inches in the mid-size. The full size weighs a solid 2.3 pounds, has an overall length of 8.2 inches and a 16-round magazine. The specifications are nearly identical with the mid-size aside from a shorter overall length of just 7.8 inches.

You often hear the term, “enhanced” as a marketing ploy, but in the case of the Jericho 941, the addition of “Enhanced” to this popular pistol is well deserved. Utilizing the same CZ-75 short recoil system that was so popular in the original 941, the Enhanced brings many new features such as an MIL-STD 1913 picatinny dust cover rail, a new hammer profile, new trigger profile, Novak Sights and a new style thumb safety lever. The Enhanced is only available in 9mm.

The 941 Enhanced is available in two styles, full and mid-sized. The full-size model is lighter than the original 941 at just 26.8 ounces, offers the same 4.4-inch barrel with an overall length of 8.11 inches. It has a smaller, 10-round magazine than the original version of the 941 but has the option of a 17-round magazine.

The mid-size 941 Enhanced has all the features of the full-size, including the 10 or 17-round magazine options in a slightly lighter, shorter design. The mid-size has a 3.8 inch barrel and an overall length of 7.53 inches.
