These levelwind reels have tremendous strength, power, and smoothness to reel in salmon, steelhead, muskies, and other large game fish. This reel features a lightweight, corrosion-resistant frame and sideplates, oversized machine cut brass drive and pinion gears, and a machined aluminum, two tone anodized spool for rigidity and strength. The aluminum ratcheting star drag provides precision drag settings and the multi-disc Carbonite drag system is extremely smooth under the pressure of fighting large fish. An aluminum handle arm with Ergo Grip knob provides cranking comfort. The mechanical line counter function measures in feet and does not fog up so you can always see the reading.
