Tactical Knives

Military combat designs inspire most tactical knives with rugged fixed-blade designs for tough use and concealability. Handles are usually slip-resistant and made from rubber, wood or polymer with single-edged blades. Blade coatings are non-reflective. Some have serrated portions or draw-cut hooks like hunting knives. The blades are usually 4 to 7 inches and crafted from premium steels like S30V or VG-10 for edge retention and premium corrosion resistance.

Regardless of their origin in combat settings, they are versatile utility tools also used in rescue operations and police duties like breaching and prying open locked containers. They are also valuable when hunting and doing general camp duties.
