ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CANCELLATION/RETURN/WARRANTY/REFUND, SHIPPING, AND PRIVACY POLICIES FOR SILENCER PURCHASES
RETURN POLICY FOR SILENCERS/SUPPRESSORS
All silencer sales are final. Once a silencer is transferred to you, it cannot be returned, even if it is unused or unfired. If you discover a defect after the transfer, please contact Silencer Central for assistance per the Banish Guarantee, and warranty/support policies outlined below.
NFA ITEM CANCELLATION POLICY
If for any reason you change your mind after purchasing and wish to cancel your order you will receive a refund for the amount paid at the time of cancellation, less than 25 percent or $200 processing fee (whichever is greater). Cancellation must be within 30 days of purchase and before any ATF paperwork has been submitted for the item. Unfortunately, once application forms have been submitted to the ATF, we are unable to cancel your order.
ACCOUNT INACTIVITY POLICY
Sportsman’s Warehouse makes buying silencers simple, but our process requires your active participation with our fulfillment partner, Silencer Central, and attention to detail to help ensure a timely and accurate submission to the ATF. Silencer Central will communicate with you throughout the process by email and/or SMS text message (to the email address and phone number you provided at the time of purchase) with requests for information, digital signature, or other action on your part. If they are unable to move your application forward because they have not received a response to their requests, your order may be subject to cancellation, at Silencer Central’s and/or Sportsman’s Warehouse sole discretion. In this event, you will receive a refund for the amount paid at the time of cancellation, less a 25 percent or $200 processing fee (whichever is greater).
ATF DENIALS OR RETURN WITHOUT ACTION
If your application is denied due to your ineligibility to own a silencer, you will receive the full cost of purchase back, including your tax stamp, less a 25 percent processing fee or $200, whichever is greater. If your application is returned without action (RWA), Silencer Central will resubmit your application after you resolve your record at no additional cost. Should you choose not to resubmit your application, you will receive your full cost of purchase back, including your tax stamp, less a 25 percent processing fee or $200, whichever is greater. Please allow up to 30 days for processing.
SILENCER CENTRAL GUARANTEE
Our fulfillment partner Silencer Central commits to completing your eForm 4 right, the first time. If you provide accurate information and they make an error resulting in a disapproval from the ATF, Sportsman’s Warehouse will refund your tax stamp ($206) in the form of a Sportsman’s Warehouse e-gift card and work quickly to get your paperwork resubmitted.
BANISH SUPPRESSOR GUARANTEE
If your BANISH™ Suppressor doesn’t significantly reduce the noise of your firearm, as well as recoil, please contact Silencer Central If performance concerns are noted, you can send your BANISH™ suppressor back to Silencer Central to be inspected on a case-by-case basis. They will field test your BANISH™ Suppressor and provide documentation of actual noise reduction and/or recoil results to satisfy our commitment to performance satisfaction. Additionally, Silencer Central guarantees the quality and craftsmanship of your BANISH™ Suppressor. If the inspection confirms defects in materials or function, you can request a refund for your suppressor (tax stamp not included).
The following terms and conditions apply:
- This offer only applies after the Form 4 is approved by the ATF. Banish™ Suppressor orders cannot be canceled or refunded while the Form 4 is pending.
- Tax stamp payments will not be refunded (unless Silencer Central made an error when submitting your form 4 documents).
- The value of any promotional items earned as part of the original purchase will be deducted from the refunded amount if applicable.
- To process a return, you must first contact Silencer Central to receive a return authorization number and begin the Form 4 submission process to transfer the BANISH™ Suppressor back. At that time, you will receive instructions on how and when to return the Banish™ Suppressor. Following these instructions is required.
- ATF approval is required before the Banish™ Suppressor can be returned to Silencer Central. Neither Sportsman’s Warehouse nor Silencer Central is responsible for any delays caused by the ATF.
- The refund will be given once Silencer Central receives said Banish™ Suppressor back into its NFA inventory.
- To receive a full refund, all respective accessories, cases, manuals, and original packaging must accompany your returned Banish™ Suppressor. Your original approved Form 4 is also required.
- Please Note: Sportsman’s Warehouse and Silencer Central reserve the right, in either’s sole discretion, to modify this guarantee at any time and without notice. Moreover, Sportsman’s Warehouse and Silencer Central reserve the right to refuse specific cases deemed fraudulent, in either Sportsman’s Warehouse or Silencer Central’s sole determination.
BANISH SUPPRESSOR LIFETIME WARRANTY PROVIDED BY SILENCER CENTRAL
Silencer Central only provides a lifetime warranty against all manufacturing defects and damage caused by the normal use of our products. Silencer Central will repair or replace free of charge any suppressor manufactured by, or at the direction of, Silencer Central. The product is sold “as is” with no further implied contractual rights or warranties beyond those expressly stated herein. The lifetime warranty does not apply to certain conditions or acts. It is at the sole discretion and determination of Silencer Central whether a defect or condition is covered by this warranty. Conditions not covered include, but are not limited to: modifications, abuse, neglect, use of defective ammunition, use of improperly sized ammunition, and criminal conduct. Silencer Central assumes no liability for damages or bodily injury caused by such acts or omissions as previously described. Abuse and neglect are defined as usage outside of the reasonable scope for which the product is intended, thus contributing to the accelerated and unreasonable premature wear of the suppressor itself.

Please do not ship a suppressor for a warranty repair or replacement without first contacting customer service.
NON-BANISH SUPPRESSOR WARRANTY/GUARANTEE
Sportsman’s Warehouse and Silencer Central do not warranty, or guarantee, any product performance or claims by the original manufacturer. Sportsman’s Warehouse and Silencer Central do not offer warranty and/or repair services for non-BANISH items. Any complaints or warranty issues must be issued directly to the original manufacturer.
SHIPPING POLICY PROVIDED BY SILENCER CENTRAL
Silencer Central orders are shipped to your door from each of its licensed locations throughout the United States. A shipping and handling fee is applied to each order containing a silencer. Adult signature is required at the time of delivery to your address.
Orders containing a silencer will not ship until all legal requirements have been met. This includes receipt of ATF approved tax stamp, successful completion of the Form 4473, and a chief law enforcement officer (CLEO) notification with a seven-day required waiting period.
ATF wait times vary and are subject to change at any time. Silencer Central and Sportsman’s Warehouse are not responsible for and do not control or influence ATF wait times. Any wait time estimates offered by Silencer Central or Sportsman’s Warehouse are provided in good faith and are best estimates that consider both the current quoted wait time provided by the ATF as well as actual current wait time experienced by Silencer Central at the time of the estimate. By purchasing and signing this agreement, you acknowledge the original wait time estimate provided by Silencer Central or Sportsman’s Warehouse and actual experienced ATF wait time may differ and agrees to the terms of this cancellation, refund and return policy.
WHERE WE SHIP AND ADDRESS CHANGES
Our fulfillment partner, Silencer Central, is licensed to do business in all 42 states where silencers are legal to own.
The address entered on the original Form/eForm 4 and 4473 must match. Silencers cannot be shipped to a state different from what their original Form/eForm 4 was submitted under unless certain guidelines are met.
For this reason, please contact Silencer Central as soon as possible regarding any change in address.
HOLDING SILENCER SHIPMENTS
Once tracking information is generated, addresses cannot be updated and orders cannot be held by Silencer Central. If you or another adult will not be present for signature on the date of expected delivery, please contact your local U.S. post office to arrange for your delivery to be held.
HOW WE SHIP
Silencer orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. During high-volume shipping periods, such as over the holiday season, there may be carrier delays for deliveries. Shipments are insured and all silencers are carefully packaged surrounded in durable foam and encased in a hard-sided box to prevent any damage from occurring during transit.
Once all legal requirements have been met, silencers are shipped in a two-leg route: first from our fulfillment partner’s warehouse to their licensed location in your state, and then from their licensed location in your state to your front door. You will receive email tracking notifications for both legs of shipping. Please note, tracking information may not be live for 1-2 business days.
Nothing is more important to Sportsman’s Warehouse and Silencer Central than the customer experience. To ensure the quality and legal compliance of that experience, shipping to a Silencer Central licensed location in your state is required. By purchasing a silencer, you acknowledge that in-person pick up from our licensed location in your state is not permitted, nor is rerouting your shipment to a non-Silencer Central licensed location of your choice.
LOST, STOLEN OR UNDELIVERED ORDERS
If your silencer order is marked “delivered,” but you cannot locate it, please first confirm with the carrier based on your tracking information who signed for your package. If your silencer shipment is presumed lost or stolen, please contact Silencer Central immediately so we can work with you to report the matter to local law enforcement and the ATF.
If law enforcement determines your silencer was stolen prior to delivery, Silencer Central will cover the cost and work quickly to get you resubmitted. Neither Sportsman’s Warehouse nor Silencer Central is responsible for theft of items after confirmed delivery and signature.
RETURN SHIPPING
The cost of shipping for any items returned to Silencer Central is the responsibility of the customer, with the exception of warranty claim returns. Return shipping to Silencer Central for warranty claims and/or repairs are covered by Silencer Central as long as Silencer Central’s Customer Service is contacted in advance and a warranty claim form is completed by the customer.
TRUSTS
Should you choose to purchase any products through a gun trust, Silencer Central may supply you with a free gun trust. Neither Sportsman’s Warehouse nor Silencer Central is a law firm, neither provides legal advice to any of its customers, and neither represents warrants or guarantees that the gun trust provided will meet the legal requirements for establishing a trust under the laws of your jurisdiction. The gun trust is provided for informational purposes only. Should you choose to establish a gun trust, you should contact a local attorney, licensed in your jurisdiction, to assist you. Both Sportsman’s Warehouse and Silencer Central disclaim all liability for any and all uses of the gun trust.

INFORMATION SPORTSMAN’S WAREHOUSE AND SILENCER CENTRAL COLLECTS
Both Sportsman’s Warehouse and Silencer Central may gather and store the following information:
Contact information such as your name, shipping address, email address and phone number.
Personal information voluntarily provided to us to complete your ATF Form/eForm 4, to create an NFA Gun Trust, or to otherwise fulfill your order and ship a silencer to your front door.
Purchase information such as purchase histories, online shopping cart histories, credit/debit card payment histories, and billing, physical and shipping addresses.
Silencer Central online store/customer portal user account profile information such as account passwords if you create an online profile with Silencer Central.
Device and browsing information used to access Sportsman’s Warehouse or Silencer Central online stores, IP addresses, cookie identifiers, browser information, internet provider, product search histories, and dates and times of interaction with either Sportsman’s Warehouse or Silencer Central’s website and online store/customer portal.
Communications with Silencer Central’s customer service and sales teams, such as phone, email, SMS, and online chat conversations.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
By purchasing, you consent to our collection and use of information. You may work with Silencer Central to use your information to create your online account, process transactions and payments, fulfill orders, file required documents necessary to complete your purchase (such as the ATF Form/eForm 4), and communicate with you.

Your information will be used to send you updates on orders and/or any current NFA pending approval time through email or SMS.
