Accuracy
At 20 feet, even the shortest version of the Barkeep delivers bullseye performance. If that seems close, it’s farther than the average distance of a self-defense encounter. On a rest, or while shooting with both hands and a solid stance, you can get good patterns at 25 yards.

Ergonomics
This is a small handgun, if you have large hands, it will be a bit more difficult to handle, but Heritage Arms has taken some of the problem away with angled grips which makes it easier to hold. The safety of a single action revolver is aided by an external safety on the left side of the hammer. The six round cylinder is cleared by a rod included with each revolver.

Reliability
A single action revolver is the most reliable handgun you can purchase. You don’t have to worry about jamming as in semi-automatics, or even off rotation cylinders as you do in double action designs. Heritage has created a reliable, efficient, accurate pistol that’s fun to shoot in inexpensive .22 Long Rifle caliber and all at a very reasonable price.
