The Glock 17 Gen5 (since 2017) is a standard-size semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm. Its grip texture is smoother than that of older generations, and it comes with a 17-round standard- and the option of a 10- or 24-round magazine. This gun has an ambidextrous slide stop lever, a reversible magazine catch, and a modular back strap system. This generation’s slide has been optimally machined for Glock’s modular optics system with a modern Nano-Diamond-Like Carbon (NDLC) finish. It has options for polymer, steel, and Glock night sights.
