YHM Sidewinder M2 9mm Luger Suppressor - Matte Black Hardcoat Anodize - The Sidewinder M2 pairs lightweight, durable construction with a redesigned booster system and tool-friendly serviceability. The booster now uses the industry’s unofficial standard piston (compatible with pistons from makers like SilencerCo, Rugged, and Dead Air), and the new rear cap lets you swap pistons without tools. The front cap has been redesigned for better engagement with takedown tools, making disassembly and maintenance easier. This user-serviceable suppressor lets you remove both the mono-core baffle and the Nielsen device using the provided disassembly tool. The Nielsen device enables flawless semi-automatic operation on all relevant host pistols, and the Sidewinder M2 offers 12 index points so you can adjust point of impact while the device remains attached to the host firearm. Built for strength without excess weight, the Sidewinder M2 uses a High-Efficiency 7075-T6 aluminum mono-core baffle protected by a Hardcoat Anodized finish. The outer tube is 6061-T6 Aircraft-Quality Aluminum with a matching finish. The Piston, Nielsen Sleeve, and Blast Baffle are Heat-Treated 17-4 PH Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance and high-temperature durability. Testing to MIL-STD-1474D produced an average dry sound signature of 125dB for the Sidewinder M2 in 9mm, measured on a Glock G17 using 147-gr. FMJ ammo; shooting the suppressor “wet” will yield still quieter results. All silencers require the purchase of a $206 Federal Tax Stamp.
