Inshore Saltwater Pro Tips:
1. Master the Art of Artificial
Get comfortable with artificial lures. It's no secret that live bait is a cheat code to catching inshore species but getting comfortable with presenting artificial lures will save you time and money if you hit the water regularly.
2. Fish the Tides, Not the Clock
Understand the tides in the area you're fishing. Make sure to check tide charts before heading out on your pursuit. Incoming tides will push fish into shallower waters to chase baitfish while slack tides tend to lead to less active fish.
3. Read the Signs, Find the Fish
Patience is the most important weapon in your arsenal. Watch for signs of bait activity such as bait busting the surface or birds circling over a particular spot. These signs may take a while to find but if you can target areas where you see these types of activities you will often find the predators you're targeting close by.
