The New Phenix 2020 Maxim Casting Rod series utilizes a multi-axis carbon fiber scrim which allows Phenix to build extremely light and sensitive rods. Phenix then utilizes a cross wrapped Carbon Tape to insure strength and proper flex. This stunning rod also features a new Phenix designed up locking reel seat. The Phenix 2020 Maxim casting models feature a split trigger design with the durability and performance of a single piece reel seat. Phenix included slender high-density EVA handles which are comfortable for all day use. The New Maxim series of bass rods also feature SiC guides, unlike many others in this price point. Phenix has created a series of bass rods which are the absolute best value for their customers.
