Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus Semi-auto Shotguns

How do you improve on a classic design like the Beretta A400? First, you lengthen the barrel to 30 inches in the 12-gauge version, then you add a few more design features for cold-weather hunting and there you have it. Improving an already outstanding design took the best efforts of Beretta’s engineers but they did it without an appreciable increase in price.

Slightly heavier than the original A400 due to the increased barrel length, the A400 Extreme Plus features an extended charging handle and bolt release. These additions create a more fluid action on the coldest, wettest days in the field.

This powerful shotgun is ideal for late December hunts on the Great Lakes or huddling in a South Dakota blind waiting for clouds of snow geese to come in over a patterned set of decoys.
