Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum Carbon Grey Cerakote Bolt Action Rifle - 26in - Through years of innovation and testing, the Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly which allows hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The Alpine MDT Carbon comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger and PEAK 44 picatinny rail. The Alpine MDT Carbon sits on MDT’s lightweight HNT26 Chassis System, which is their first purpose-built hunting rifle chassis. This stock provides all of the benefits one expects from a chassis system such as v-block bedding, adjustable length of pull, adjustable comb, and AICS magazine compatibility. Weighing in at just 26oz, the chassis is constructed of a magnesium alloy stock, carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber pistol grip, and carbon fiber buttstock. The forend has an integral ARCA rail for easy attachment to a tripod and a foldable buttstock for compact storage.
