Ruger American Predator Stainless Bolt Action Rifle - 6.5 Creedmoor - 22in - The Ruger American Rifle Predator is built with innovative designs and modern materials to provide shooters with a practical and cost-effective bolt-action rifle, meant for serious long-range shooting. Ruger designed the Marksman Adjustable trigger for the American Rifle to be user adjustable for weight-of-pull. The Marksman trigger is light and crisp, allowing for precision shooting. The stock is constructed from rugged composite with grooves and texturizing on the pistol grip and fore-end, which provide a solid, non-slip grip in any hunting environment. The stock features molded-in Power Bedding recoil/bedding blocks to rigidly attach the barreled action to the stock and free-float the barrel. A soft rubber recoil pad absorbs recoil considerably. The Predator model features a heavier tapered barrel to aid in long-range shooting, and is threaded (5/8'in-24). The barrel is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy. A 3-lug bolt design with a 70 degree bolt lift provides plenty of clearance between the bolt handle and the riflescope. A 2-position tang safety is easily accessible and quick to operate by both right- and left-handed shooters; the bolt can be cycled for loading and unloading the rifle with the safety engaged. A cocking indicator at the end of the bolt can be seen and felt. This American Rifle Predator model comes with one detachable, ultra-reliable, flush-fit magazine, adding to the rifle's ease of handling. The receiver is drilled and tapped with a factory installed, 1-piece aluminum, sight rail. Made in USA.
