Ruger American Generation II Scout 7.62x39mm Cobalt Cerakote Bolt Action Rifle - 16.10in - The AR-style pin and aperture iron sights provide both elevation and windage adjustment, while the rear aperture features two flip-adjustable sizes for near and far sighting. A factory-installed Scout-length scope base allows for mounting intermediate eye relief scopes, optics, night vision, or thermal imaging devices. The splatter-finished stock offers excellent grip without being overly sharp or abrasive, and the soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for easier shouldering along with improved geometry that progressively collapses to reduce felt recoil. Removing the installed spacer adjusts the length of pull from 13.75in to 12in for a more customized fit. The included low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics, though it can be removed when utilizing the factory-installed iron sights. A professionally applied Cerakote coating on the barrel, receiver, and bolt handle provides a durable, easy-to-maintain finish. The compact threaded barrel, fitted with a factory-installed flash suppressor, is cold hammer-forged for ultra-precise rifling that enhances both accuracy and longevity. The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt to prevent inadvertent opening while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger delivers a crisp release with a user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. Ruger’s patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for exceptional accuracy. The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel for smooth operation, and the familiar three-lug design with a 70° throw provides ample scope clearance. An oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation and uses a 5/16 x 24 thread pattern for easy replacement. The rifle also includes one magazine and steel sling swivel studs.
