Ruger American Generation II Patrol 5.56mm NATO Graphite Black Cerakote Bolt Action Rifle - 16.10in - The splatter-finished stock delivers a secure grip without feeling overly sharp or abrasive, while the soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for easier shouldering and improved geometry that progressively collapses to reduce felt recoil. The length of pull can be adjusted from 13.75in to 12in by removing the installed spacer for a more customized fit. An installed low comb enhances sight alignment when using magnified optics but can be removed for use with low-mounted sights, with additional comb options also available for further refinement. A professionally applied Cerakote coating on the barrel, thread protector, receiver, and bolt handle provides a durable, low-maintenance finish. The bull contour barrel adds weight for increased stability and reduced recoil, while the threaded, cold hammer-forged barrel with factory-installed thread protector delivers ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and long service life. The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt to prevent inadvertent opening while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged. Ruger’s Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with a user-adjustable pull weight ranging from 3 to 5 pounds. The patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for enhanced accuracy. The one-piece stainless steel bolt is CNC machined for smooth operation, and its familiar three-lug design with a 70 degrees throw provides generous scope clearance. An oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation and features a 5/16 x 24 thread pattern for easy replacement. The rifle also includes a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base and is compatible with an optional accessory stock weight kit which adds up to 1.6 pounds to the buttstock to improve balance and reduce recoil when using heavier muzzle devices. Also included are one magazine and steel sling swivel studs.
