It is equipped with the BX-Trigger, offering a light, crisp trigger pull between 2.5 and 3 pounds with minimal overtravel and a positive reset for enhanced shooting performance. The Ruger Modular Stock System includes a low comb and standard length-of-pull module, with additional modules available through ShopRuger.com. The receiver also features a rear cleaning port, allowing easy access to the barrel from the back of the receiver for more convenient maintenance and cleaning. A detachable 10-round rotary magazine utilizes a unique rotor design to separate cartridges and ensure reliable feeding. The rifle also includes an easy-to-use, prominent magazine release that allows smooth, hassle-free removal of the flush-mounted magazine. Its precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged barrel is fitted with a Ruger flash suppressor mounted on a 1/2in-28 thread. Additional features include a positive push-button cross-bolt manual safety, a factory-installed Picatinny rail, and an adjustable rear aperture ring sight for improved versatility and accuracy. The match bolt release allows the bolt to be easily advanced with a quick pull and release to the rear.
