At the heart of the rifle is a second-generation carbon fiber stock featuring a newly adjustable comb for precise eye-to-scope alignment. The one-piece carbon fiber construction provides outstanding strength, rigidity, and weight savings, minimizing flex during offhand shots while maintaining consistent performance in the field. A compressed carbon fiber bedding block further enhances stability without adding unnecessary weight. Subtle two-tone graphics help break up the rifle's outline, while Browning's proven 1¼-inch Inflex recoil pad helps absorb recoil for greater shooting comfort.

Carbon fiber technology extends beyond the stock to the rifle's premium Preferred Barrels carbon-wrapped barrel. Developed through extensive testing and evaluation, each barrel begins as a precision-bored, button-rifled steel blank that is stress relieved before being wrapped in high-strength carbon fiber. Unlike cosmetic sleeve-style designs, the wrapping process increases stiffness while reducing weight, resulting in exceptional accuracy and consistency. Barrel lengths are optimized by caliber, and the threaded 5/8in-24 muzzle is suppressor-ready. A Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector are included. For maximum precision, the action is bedded and the barrel is free-floated.

True to its "Mountain" designation, every component is engineered with weight reduction in mind. The stainless steel receiver is strategically lightened through extensive machining, while the bolt features spiral fluting to further reduce mass. The fluted aluminum bolt handle incorporates a hollow knob for additional weight savings.
