At the heart of the system is a 36-inch match-grade stainless steel barrel, single-point cut and hand-lapped to exacting standards. Chambered in the powerful .416 Barrett cartridge, the rifle is equipped with a large three-port muzzle brake that effectively reduces felt recoil and helps maintain sight picture through the shot. Barrett's modular barrel system allows users to change barrels and calibers with a single tool, while the firing pin and bolt head can be swapped quickly without tools for maximum flexibility. The bolt features an electroless nickel-plated bolt head that enhances corrosion resistance, minimizes wear, and reduces maintenance requirements. A 60-degree bolt throw enables faster cycling and provides ample clearance for optics with larger ocular lenses. Designed for comfort and adaptability, the MRADELR features a fixed stock with an oversized recoil pad, push-button adjustments for length of pull and buttstock height, and a locking adjustable cheekpiece for a precise fit. A 24.6-inch Picatinny rail with 10 mils of built-in elevation extends across the upper receiver, while multiple M-LOK attachment points along the handguard offer extensive accessory mounting options. An adjustable single-stage trigger module rounds out the package and can be removed without tools for easy maintenance and customization.
