At the heart of its modular design is a user-changeable barrel system that allows the precision-grade barrel to be removed and replaced by simply loosening two bolts with a standard Torx wrench. This innovative approach simplifies maintenance, reduces logistical challenges, and provides a foundation for caliber conversion and serviceability at the user level. The MRAD features Barrett's advanced trigger module, which is easily accessible for maintenance, adjustment, or replacement. Designed for both precision and duty applications, the match-grade trigger is drop-safe and built to perform in demanding environments. Fully ambidextrous controls, including a configurable thumb safety and intuitive magazine release, allow shooters to operate the rifle efficiently while maintaining a firing grip and consistent cheek weld. Machined from high-strength 7000-series aluminum, the monolithic upper receiver incorporates a full-length M1913 Picatinny rail with a 20 MOA taper, providing ample space for optics and inline night vision devices. Additional side and bottom mounting interfaces accommodate a wide range of accessories, allowing the rifle to be tailored to specific missions and shooting disciplines. The folding stock enhances portability without compromising rigidity, locking securely into place to provide the stability of a fixed-stock rifle. When folded, the stock latches around the bolt handle for added security during transport while maintaining the rifle's overall width. A temperature-resistant polymer cheek piece offers a comfortable and repeatable shooting position, while the adjustable length of pull can be quickly configured to one of five positions at the push of a button. From its quick-detach sling attachment points to its interchangeable barrel system, every aspect of the MRAD has been engineered with flexibility and performance in mind.
