Strike Industries Ultimate Dust Cover for 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO Flag - Black - The Strike Ultimate Dust Cover (UDC) is designed for fast and simple installation, allowing attachment and removal in seconds without the need for specialized tools or handguard removal. This design offers a major improvement over traditional mil-spec dust covers that typically require additional disassembly and installation effort. Constructed from high-density polymer, the UDC delivers enhanced durability and reliable performance compared to standard dust covers. Available in multiple designs and color options including black and FDE, the cover also features an adjustable detent set screw to help compensate for wear over time and improve retention against the upper receiver. Using a small flathead driver, the detent can be adjusted to control ball detent extension from the housing pocket, allowing improved fitment and tighter tolerance with the upper receiver. The Ultimate Dust Cover Enhanced Version (UDC-E) includes several upgraded features, including a cut-out window on the rod for easier disassembly and removal. The slimmer profile also improves compatibility with virtually all AR15 receivers currently available. Weighing only 0.3 oz., the lightweight design is ideal for weight-conscious rifle builds. The updated “True Seal” lip design provides an even tighter seal for improved protection and reliability.
