The RP Bipod includes long and short leg configurations. The long leg (3 section) configuration allows you to reach a max shooting height of 30.2 inches for shooting kneeling or sitting. While the short leg (2 section) configuration gives you a max shooting height of 12 inches. The leg adjustments give you 4 leg positions, allowing you to shoot in a stable prone position.

The RP features both a Tilt lock lever and pan locking knob. This allows you to adjust tension on leveling/panning, or lock out the panning feature.

If you want to lock the Pan: Engage the pan lock. The tilt lock lever will only adjust tension leveling with tilt. 

If you want to pan: Disengage the pan lock, and the tilt lock lever will adjust tension for both pan and tilt.
