The FN Five-seveN pistol may have started out for the exclusive use of military and law enforcement, but is now available to civilians for personal defense, target shooting, and more. The FN Five-seveN is a lightweight polymer-based pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm designed to shoot farther and more accurately than comparable handguns.

This pistol minimizes recoil for its power, and its chrome-lined cold hammer-forged barrel promotes the accuracy consumers want. This is a full-sized pistol that is very lightweight, with all models coming in under two pounds.

Today, the FN Five-seveN is used by over 300 law enforcement agencies, and its military and law enforcement use spans more than 40 nations. If it’s good enough for the Secret Service, it’s probably going to meet most civilians’ home defense needs – and that has been reflected in its increasing popularity since it became available to civilians in 2004.

The FN Five-seveN is a single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm with a concealed hammer. The polymer design reduces weight and makes the pistol more corrosion-resistant over the long term.

This firearm makes for an excellent lightweight full-size pistol for personal protection and sporting uses. It has low recoil with high-energy projectiles. Its grip is quite accessible for its longer caliber, with 69.85mm separating the trigger from the back of the grip.
