The Tica brand was created in 1991 by the Taiwanese company Everwinner. Everwinner had been a quality fishing tackle manufacturer almost since its founding in 1965, and launched Tica to create their own brand of the quality equipment they were already known for. Today, Tica produces spinning reels, baitcasting reels, boat and trolling reels, fly reels, fishing rods, and spinning combos. Their USMB ULUA Blue Series fishing rod is designed for fishing from the bank, and uses a graphite and fiberglass composite design with stainless steel spring guides.
