The AFTCO Tapered Fiberglass Gaff features a special thick-walled, super strong yet lightweight E-glass handle which has been custom designed for extreme strength and rigidity. All AFTCO's fiberglass handles are rolled on proprietary mandrels using specific tapers developed by AFTCO and are fitted in the factory with the same stainless steel hooks used on the aluminum gaffs. These gaffs feature a rich dark brown epoxy finish with a hand wrapped black and metallic gold trim. Each gaff has a functional black nylon seine cord handle and a Turk’s head. The 6 foot model floats if dropped overboard.
