Gator Pro Gator Rigged Bait Pegs - Package includes 3 Gator Bait pegs with a 30in 400lb test Monofilament leader and swivel. Legal Wooden Bait Pegs are 1in diameter and not more than 2in in length (required by FWC).
When using bait, there are a few key things to remember. The bait must be on or above the surface of the water so the gator can find it by smell and sight. Also, in some situations, you might try to move the bait by pulling on the line to get the Gators attention.
The bigger the bait, the bigger the gator it will take to swallow it. We recommend using lung for the bait as it is bloody and it will float.
