The Maverick series has come about from requests from dealers for a budget price point rod that is strong, durable and balanced. This rod is offered with the new Dobyns Maverick Casting Reel. They wanted to create high performance reels while staying at a budget minded price point. This took some doing but the results are awesome! You’ll find extra bearings and very smooth reels.
