The Weatherby Mark V 338 At A Glance

The “Flagship” of Weatherby’s legendary line of high-performance rifles earned its title the Mark V. An original design by founder Roy Weatherby, was introduced in 1957 specifically to handle the high-powered Weatherby .338 caliber round.

The Mark V is available in a variety of special packages, but each one is based on the extremely accurate, incredibly reliable and high functioning original design. A lightweight rifle at just 5.4 pounds, it’s shorter 20-inch barrel and overall, 40-inch length make it a perfect choice for high altitude hikes after North American big game. It is a great rifle for heavy brush and thicket hunting as well. With an all-weather, carbon fiber stock it is nearly impervious to the best that Mother Nature can throw at you.
