One of the newest long-range rifles on the market, it made its debut in 2020. The Seekins Precision Havak represents cutting edge shooting technology with ample variations to suit competition shooters and hunters alike in a variety of settings.
The Havak line consists of five different rifles, the PH2, Pro Hunter, HIT, Element and HIT Pro. The “HIT” moniker stands for “High-Impact Target.” These five designs range in barrel length from 21 to 26-inches and represent a wide, and varied style of stock designs from traditional laminated wood to stylized, adjustable synthetics.
Seekins Precision set out to corner the market for long range target and big game hunting rifles by producing the Havak series in moderate to large caliber chamberings. The Havak is offered in 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor, .260 Remington, 6.5 PRC, 6.8mm Western, 7mm PRC, .308 Winchester, 300 Winchester Magnum and .300 PRC. These represent both long and short action bolt-action rifles depending on caliber.
Think “something for everyone” when you consider purchasing a Seekins Precision Havak rifle. First on the list is appearance, these are attractive, modern rifles. Some with a flair towards the futuristic and others in more of a classical style. They’re also expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Common features among the five different versions of the Havak are accuracy first and foremost. You’ll be able to hit dead center on steel targets at 1,000 yards with any of these fine rifles. The second is quality of construction, they border on works of art. They feature tool-less bolt assemblies, barrel twists of 1:8 to 1:11.25-inches for enhanced long-distance accuracy and streamlined internal magazines.
They vary a lot in weight, from the featherlight Element at just six pounds, to the substantial mass of the HIT and HIT Pro at twice the weight. They arrive with factory flush cups and larger trigger guards so you can shoot in extreme cold conditions while wearing gloves.
