Daniel Defense DD5 V4 6.5 Creedmoor 18in Black Anodized Semi Automatic Modern Sporting Rifle - 10+1 Rounds - California Compliant - The DD5 V4 provides users of the Daniel Defense semi-automatic platform even greater long-range precision shooting capability. The cold hammer forged proprietary steel chrome-lined barrel provides a lifetime of accuracy and durability. This highly accurate and durable rifle includes an adjustable gas block that allows for a consistent feel whether shooting suppressed or unsuppressed. The perfected bolt carrier group reduces overall recoil impulse and is easy to maintain and operate in all conditions.
California compliant design prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, locking the magazine into the receiver. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter will be required separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord to make the process easier. Once the magazine has been released the rifle can be re-assembled and shot once again
