10x Binoculars

Many hunters see an 8x or 10x magnification as the best all-around option for hunting. 10x magnification works well for farther distances than an 8x, so hunters and birders in more open spaces might be drawn to this magnification. If you'll be 20m or more from your wildlife, then a 10x magnification will provide that extra bit of detail without getting you too lost.
