The pant does this by covering exposed skin with lightweight bite-reduction fabric that has Insect Shield protection built right in. The SITKA-designed fabric promotes airflow through zippered leg vents that can zip and unzip at will, making this pant a perfect choice for staying comfortable and wicking moisture in hot, humid climates. When tucked into sucks, internal leg gaiters protect against ticks, chiggers, and other parasitic insects that can crawl up the leg.
